Awareness Seminar On Enhancing HealthCare Service Delivery
The seminar aimed at raising awareness among health professionals regarding KP HCC’s mandate, role and responsibilities in enhancing healthcare services, ensuring quality standards, and protecting of patients’ rights.
The session began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by opening remarks from Vice Chancellor Gandhara University Prof. Dr. Ejaz Hassan Khan, who emphasized the significance of quality healthcare service delivery, role of KP HCC in taking positive steps to achieve a safer healthcare landscape in KP by taking all the stakeholders on board.
A presentation on the topic was delivered by Dr. Uzma Syed, Deputy Director/Incharge, Directorate of Quality, KP HCC, providing insights into KP HCC’s core functions, i.e. regulation, capacity building, stakeholder engagement, compliance of MSDS and public grievance redressal thus enhancing healthcare services with unwavering dedication.
Dr. Shefa Haider Sawal (Director Registration KP HCC) in his remarks stressed on the mutual collaboration on KP HCC initiatives and invited the academia to join in identifying gaps through research and data driven monitoring
Mohsin Ali Turk (Director Legal Affairs, KP HCC) familiarised the audience with legal technicalities in healthcare and how KP HCC undertakes these for the beneficence of public at large and healthcare providers.
The Seminar was attended by the faculty members, medical students and healthcare professionals from Gandhara University followed by distribution of appreciation letters by the VC Gandhara university to the KP HCC staff in attendance.
The seminar concluded with a question-and-answer session, allowing attendees to engage in discussions and gain further clarity on the topics covered.
