Second and Third Inspection Fee for Health Care Establishments
Regulation l5 of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission (Registration and Licensing) Regulations, 2022, states that in case of failure in the third inspection for licence, the health care establishment shall be sealed forthwith. It was decided by the Board that Rs.5,000 fine shall be imposed per failed indicator, each time the HCE is inspected for Full Licence. This shall be in addition to the inspection fee and will serve as incentive for improving compliance to the Minimum Service Delivery Standards. The penalty of sealing the hospital shall not be mandatory and shall be decided on case to case basis on third inspection by the competent authority, depending upon the track record of the degree of improvement of the HCE in the earlier two inspections
