5th Phase of Three- day training on Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) for Category 1 Hospitals
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Healthcare Commission concluded a three-day training on the implementation of Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) for the 5th batch of category-1 hospitals empanelled for sehat sahulat program from various district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at thw Post Graduate Medical Institute Peshawar.
A total of 29 consultants, doctors, hospital administration staff, pharmacists, and allied health professionals from three public and six private sector category-1 hospitals participated in the training sessions.
Chief Executive Officer, KP HCC, Dr Nadeem Akhter while addresing the certificates distribution cermony said that MSDS will be implemented to improve the quality of care and patient’s safety in both public and private health care establishments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. CEO KP HCC further added that the performance of hospitals would surely improve as a result of the full implementation of MSDS.
Deputy Director, Project Management Implementation Unit for Revamping of Non Teaching DHQs of KPK, Dr Attaullah appricated the efforts of KP HCC for implementing MSDS in public sector hospitals of the province and assured full support in allocation of resources to public sector hospitals to achieve Minimum Service Delivery Standards.
Certificates were also distributed among the Nominee’s/trainees of hospitals as well as facilitators/ trainers of the training.
