The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission convened a meeting of the Technical Committee

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission (KP HCC) convened a meeting of the Technical Committee, chaired by Prof. Dr. Sahibzada Abdul Waheed on September 20, 2023,

This significant event brought together the heads of all regulatory bodies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to address key healthcare issues. In order to align service provision with professional education, the participants discussed the distinctions between clinical and non-clinical degrees and highlighted the importance of continuous professional development. All stakeholders assured their respective organizations’ assistance in improving the quality of healthcare in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Participants in the meeting included Prof. Dr. Waqar Alam Jan, Dean of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan; Prof. Dr. Sahibzada Mahmood Noor, CEO of the Post Graduate Medical Institute; Prof. Dr. Sabina Aziz, Public Health Specialist; Dr. Shaheen Afridi, Chief HSRU; Dr. Ikram Ghani, Chairman, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission; Dr. Nadeem Akhtar, CEO, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission and Dr. Shabnam Gul, Director Licensing, Khyber Health Care Commission.
