One-day Seminar on Minimum Service Delivery Standards in MTI, Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission organized one-day Awareness Seminar on Minimum Service Delivery Standards at MTI, Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar.
On August 09, 2023, Directorate of Quality, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission conducted a one-day awareness seminar focusing on the implementation of the Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) in MTI, Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar. The seminar brought together clinical and administrative staff of the hospital to ensure implementation of the essential components of the Minimum Service Delivery Standards.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Nadeem Akhtar, Chief Executive Officer Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ayaz Khan, Medical Director of Khyber Teaching Hospital. Both shared their insights and emphasised the significance of adhering to the implementation of the Minimum Service Delivery Standards. Dr. Shabnum Gul, Director of Licensing, Mr. Mohsin Ali Turk, Director of Legal Affairs, and Dr. Uzma Syed, Deputy Director of Quality, were the main presenters of the informative session.
The seminar covered various aspects of the Minimum Service Delivery Standards for Category 1 Hospitals. The presenters highlighted the core components/indicators of the standards and emphasized the need of how they can be effectively integrated into the hospital’s operations.
