Three-day Training on Minimum Service Delivery Standards for Category 1 and 2 Hospitals

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Healthcare Commission Successfully Concludes Three-Day Training on Minimum Service Delivery Standards for Batch-18.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health care commission (KP-HCC) under auspices of Directorate of Quality had completed a three day training on the implementation of Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) for the 18th Batch of Category I & II from 04 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa i.e. Peshawar, Nowshera, Swat & Buner at Khyber institute of child health Hayatabad, Peshawar.

The training commenced with recitation of verses Holy Quran, followed by a brief introduction of KP HCC and MSDS by Deputy Director Quality.

Ten functional areas of MSDS were covered by the trainers which include:

  1. Responsibility of Management (ROM)
  2. Human Resource Management (HRM)
  3. Information management System (IMS)
  4. Facility Management and Safety (FMS)
  5. Care of Patient (COP)
  6. Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)
  7. Access Assessment and Continuity of Care (AAC)
  8. Patients’ Rights and Education (PRE)
  9. Management of Medication (MOM)
  10. Hospital Infection Control (HIC).

Total number of 24 participants  including Doctors, managers, clinicians,  nurses, and Pharmacists attended the Training from the following Hospitals:

  1. Continental General Hospital, Swat.
  2. Ali Surgical Center, Nowshera.
  3. Makkah Medical & General Hospital, Nowshera.
  4. Noor Hospital & Research Center , Peshawar.
  5. Mubashir Ahmad Medical & Surgical Center Nowshera.
  6. Zaman Medical Center
  7. Dr Asma Arif Maternity Home, Nowshera.
  8. Zafar Sani Hospital , Buner.

The training concluded by distribution of Course Completion certificates to participants and provisional licenses to the Hospital representatives by Deputy Director Quality and Director Licensing
