Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission Advances Healthcare Project Through Training Workshop
A team from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission (KP HCC), led by Dr. Shabnum Gul, participated in a training workshop aimed at enhancing the skills of field supervisors and enumerators for the project ‘Geo-Tagging and Registration of Health Care Establishments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.’ The workshop was organized through a collaborative effort by Fincon Services, Ehsar Foundation, KP HCIP, and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission. This initiative is generously funded by the World Bank to promote improved healthcare infrastructure and services in the region.
The training workshop took place on August 22, 2023, at the prestigious Fort Continental Hotel in Peshawar. The event brought together esteemed officials from various partner organizations, including the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission, KP HCIP, Ehsar Foundation, and Fincon Services. During the workshop, these officials engaged in constructive discussions related to project development, addressing queries from the dedicated field staff.
Dr. Nadeem Akhtar, Chief Executive Officer KP HCC inaugurated the workshop with his opening remarks, underlining the significance of the project’s objectives and the dedication of the team towards sucessful execution and implemetation of the project. The workshop covered various aspects of geo-tagging, registration procedures, and other critical elements of the project
Leading the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission team was Dr. Shabnum Gul, Director of Licensing, who played a pivotal role in coordinating the team’s participation. Mr. Amana Ullah, an Inspector at KP HCC, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the Health Care Establishment Categories and registration mechanism. His presentation elucidated the intricacies of the registration procedure, providing the field staff with valuable insights.
Significant contributions were made by Mr. Salman Tahir, Manager of IT at KP HCC, who addressed the field staff’s queries through an informative presentation. His insights and explanations regarding the technological aspects of the project were well-received and added substantial value to the training.
The workshop proved to be exceptionally productive, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and knowledge exchange. As the workshop concluded, participants expressed gratitude through a vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective efforts of all stakeholders involved.
The event was graced by the presence of notable figures from partner organizations. Dr. Ikram, Project Director at KP HCIP, Mr. Ali Waheed, Vice President of Fincon Services, and Kazim Ullah, President of the Ehsar Foundation, were among those who attended along with their respective teams.”
